Description
Composer Rick DeJonge has written a fantastic 8 minute grade 5 work for band or orchestra in classic silent film style that will introduce your ensemble to real cinematic scoring. DeJonge then created a synchronized film that celebrates the old silent film two-reelers by Chaplin, Keaton, Llyod, and others. The score and film are divided into four sections: chases and locomotive stunts from dozens of movies, the lion cage scene from Chaplin's "The Circus" (1928), scenes from Herbert Brenon's "Peter Pan" (1924), and scenes from the classic 1933 flick "King Kong". Show File includes optional click track audio file.
